Private Instruction

Private yoga-sessions allow you to experience yoga in the most beneficial way.  Unlike group classes, private sessions are tailored to your unique and ever-changing body, energy-levels, emotional state, and current life situation.  The individual attention makes them ideal especially for beginners, those with health challenges (physical and/or emotional), and those wishing to build an effective home-practice.

I offer instruction in the yogic practices of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), and meditation.   I employ a therapeutic approach that aims to restore balance, health, and vitality to body and mind.

Over the years, I’ve worked with all kinds of people: finance executives, cancer survivors, tech company superstars, new moms, and psychotherapists, to name a few.  From building core strength to managing a stressful life event, they’ve all sought yoga and meditation for different reasons.  I truly love working with people individually, helping them discover the approach and practice(s) best suited and most effective for them.
